GreenFire Energy Inc. Partners with Energy Development Corporation to Boost Geothermal Power Production in the Philippines



In a significant move towards enhancing renewable energy production in the Philippines, the Energy Development Corporation (EDC) has secured a substantial grant from the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). With this grant, EDC has chosen to collaborate with GreenFire Energy Inc., a leading provider of advanced geothermal energy solutions, to implement innovative technology aimed at increasing geothermal power production.


Partnership Details:

GreenFire Energy Inc. is set to deploy its pioneering GreenLoop™ technology at EDC's Mahanagdong Geothermal Field in Leyte, Philippines. This partnership signifies a major milestone in the Philippines' renewable energy journey, as it strives to achieve ambitious targets of 35% renewable energy in the power generation mix by 2030 and 50% by 2040.
