"CeraPhi Energy and Climate Change Ventures : Pioneering Geothermal Solutions"

CeraPhi Energy Partners with Climate Change Ventures to Accelerate Geothermal Innovations

UK-based CeraPhi Energy has entered into a strategic partnership with Climate Change Ventures (CCV), a renowned financial services and green project development specialist. This collaboration aims to facilitate significant investment in CeraPhi's innovative portfolio of projects, focusing on harnessing the earth's natural heat reservoirs.

CeraPhi is at the forefront of pioneering advanced "closed-loop" geothermal technologies, a groundbreaking approach that repurposes end-of-life Oil and Gas wells in a cost-effective and highly efficient manner. This innovative method offers a sustainable solution for repurposing redundant infrastructure while providing 24/7 supplies of heat and derived energy at attractive production costs.

Climate Change Ventures will play a pivotal role in this collaboration by utilizing a "Green Bond" mechanism to secure project finance. This financial support is instrumental in realizing CeraPhi's vision to unlock "the heat beneath our feet" and accelerate the development of multiple commercial-scale geothermal energy projects.

Karl Farrow, CEO of CeraPhi, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "CeraPhi has developed a portfolio of projects focused on reusing end-of-life Oil and Gas wells over the last 12 months. Working with CCV, we've developed a viable financial model to expedite project development, solidifying our position as a leader in the geothermal energy utility space."

Farrow highlighted the significance of the funding provided by CCV, emphasizing its role in enabling CeraPhi to contribute to carbon reduction efforts and assist governments in achieving Net Zero targets. "We are a mission-driven business, and initiatives like this are what is required to shift the trajectory in carbon reduction," he added.

Horacio Carvalho, CEO of Climate Change Ventures, commended CeraPhi's innovative approach to green heat and power production. "We have observed the true potential that CeraPhi holds in reducing greenhouse gases and making our planet a safer place," Carvalho stated. "We are delighted to be working alongside them to fund our joint ambition and bring their contributions to the market."

The signed agreement between Karl Farrow and Horacio Carvalho marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between CeraPhi Energy and Climate Change Ventures, symbolizing a united effort towards advancing sustainable geothermal solutions and addressing the global challenge of climate change.
